Just Eat and Katy Perry have carried out the latest advertising campaign for the popular food delivery brand.

Just Eat popularized its latest advertising campaign in 2020 which featured Snoop Dogg. Under the slogan “Did somebody say”, the artist popularized the tagline among consumers.

Now, Just Eat and Katy Perry have teamed up to continue with the series of artists linked to the food delivery brand. And they do it with an ad full of fantasy, color and food very much in the style of Katy Perry.

“Did somebody say” is the title of the commercial by Just Eat and Katy Perry. It has been made by the London McCann agency and directed by Dave Meyers, who has already made several video clips with the singer such as “Swish Swhis” or “Firework”. The campaign wants to continue the communicative line created by the brand.

The commercial has a very marked style with the American singer. A simple home delivery turns into a festival of colors and fantasy worthy of a Disney movie. The display of costumes impresses with its laborious lace.

According to Icíar Luengo, head of marketing for Just Eat in Spain: “The creative platform Did Somebody Say” connects us with the emotional part of our consumers, positioning Just Eat as a response to all possible moments of consumption and creating love for the brand in a highly competitive sector.”

Katy Perry, for her part, commented: “Working on the brand has been a really fun and natural experience. Ordering food for me is a regular thing on a Saturday night, so it’s been fun to channel that into a video that’s a combination of things I love: bright pop colors, wild outfits and puns about food, sung over a catchy tune.”
