Playstation’s spectacular action to promote Spiderman 2
The agencies Ackelo and Poem have been in charge of the advertising campaign
The Playstation action made in Australia simulates a truck accident saved by Spider-Man.
Playstation has released one of its most anticipated video games this October: Spiderman 2. The game has achieved a score of 90 on Metacritic and the press hails it as one of the best superhero video games of all time. A must if you have a Playstation5 and are a Spidey fan.
To promote its launch, Playstation has presented a spectacular action in Australia to capture the public’s attention; a rescue through the streets of Sydney.
“The Spectacular Save” is the title of the Playstation action made in Australia. The Ackelo and Poem agencies have collaborated with the Japanese brand to carry out the spectacular staging.
During a weekend the inhabitants of Sydney witnessed a spectacular rescue carried out by our friend and neighbor Spiderman. Nothing more than a truck suspended in the air thanks to Spiderman’s webs and saved just in time to hit the ground.
According to Patrick Lagana, Marketing Director at PlayStation Australia: “Spider-Man 2 is one of the most anticipated PS5 games to date and we wanted to showcase the power and imagination of Spider-Man with our partners Akcelo and Poem, who have created a really exciting campaign that really grabs attention.”
