The new Pepsi advert reimagines the pleasure of unapologetically enjoying what we love.

Pepsi is launching a new global campaign that encourages us to enjoy what we love and celebrate all our experiences without regrets. And it does so alongside former football player David Beckham.

Now, the brand has released a new advert in the UK to remind us that, whether with friends, alone, or with strangers, we should celebrate small joys and live life to the fullest.

“Thirsty for more” is the title of the new Pepsi advert created by the agency Springtime. The former footballer plays a final role that brings the whole campaign together.

The advert shows us everyday actions like playing video games, having fun with friends, dancing at a concert, singing at a karaoke bar, or taking a life-changing trip. Activities that many of us have felt guilty about, as if we were “wasting our time” instead of focusing on what’s supposedly important.

The Pepsi advert closes with David Beckham as a symbol of authenticity and a personal lifestyle. The footballer reminds us that “if we do what we love, it’s never a waste of time.” All to the rhythm of “No Regrets” by Guy Farley, sung by Siena — a cover of the iconic Edith Piaf song released in 1956.

According to Cathy Graham Kidd, Senior Director of Global Brand Marketing at PepsiCo, in a statement: “In a world that can often seem increasingly negative, toxic, and judgmental, the small moments of joy matter more than ever. This insight, and the celebration of our personal touch in enjoyment — whatever it may be — are at the heart of this Pepsi campaign.”
