These are the ten best commercials of 2025 selected by Eslogan Magazine.
2025 is coming to an end, and it’s time to review the year to discover the best commercials of 2025. It has been a remarkable year, especially at the end, when brands unleashed their full creativity in Christmas campaigns.
There are many great campaigns that had to be left out, such as the Apple Christmas ad or Intermarché. This year, brands continued experimenting with artificial intelligence, often facing user rejection. On the other hand, brands like Suchard and Apple focused on taking creativity and craftsmanship to the highest level.
In our list of the best ads of 2025, we had to leave out some truly brilliant campaigns, but that’s our job: to play and decide which ads were the best of the year. Just like we did with the ten best commercials of 2024, we are now selecting the ten best commercials of 2025. Shall we begin?
10. Ikea – Wherever Life Goes
We start our top 10 best commercials of 2025 with an Ikea advert. “Wherever Life Goes”, created by Åkestam Holst NoA, focuses on emotions and life moments. The campaign, spanning print, digital, and 15-second clips, highlights how homes evolve alongside life’s changes—relationships, new beginnings, and losses.
09. Visa – Typewriter
The Visa advert “Typewriter”, created by Anomaly and premiered at the 97th Academy Awards, follows a young woman whose purchase of an old typewriter sparks imaginative visions of diverse career paths, from writer and filmmaker to chef and travel entrepreneur.
07. Apple – A Critter Carol
This year brought us amazing Christmas campaigns, so much so that two made it to the best commercials of 2025 list. The first is “A Critter Carol”, from Apple and created by TBWA\Media Arts Lab and directed by Mark Molloy. Featuring a choir of handmade puppet forest creatures performing a Flight of the Conchords song, the ad combines humor, music, and classic winter charm, highlighting how technology enhances human creativity while showcasing the iPhone’s capabilities.
07. Nike – Why Do It?
The seventh-best ad of the year goes to a Nike advert. “Why Do It?”, created by Wieden+Kennedy, adapts its classic slogan to connect with younger generations and features current sports stars like Carlos Alcaraz, Saquon Barkley, Caitlin Clark, Vinicius, and LeBron James.
06. Apple – Great Ideas Start on a Mac
At number 6, the ad “Great Ideas Start on a Mac” by Apple, created by TBWA\Media Arts Lab and directed by Mike Mills. The piece shows different creative processes starting from a blank screen, highlighting the moment ideas begin for musicians, scientists, designers, and activists, all narrated by the late Jane Goodall.
05. Vanish – The Bully Monster
The advert “The Bully Monster” by Vanish ranks number 5 in our top ads of 2025. Created by BETC HAVAS and produced by LOBO, it addresses school bullying through the story of a boy whose bullying is represented as a growing stain. Thanks to his mother’s empathy, the boy opens up, the “monster” disappears, and other children are encouraged to share their experiences.
04. State Farm – Batman vs Bateman
At number 4, the Emmy-winning campaign for Best Commercial of the Year: “Batman vs. Bateman” by State Farm, created by Highdive and produced by Anomaly. This humorous piece stars Jason Bateman and plays with his surname to depict, in a funny way, a washed-up fake Batman pretending to be Gotham’s hero.
03. John Lewis – Wherever Love Lives
The second christmas ad of the list is “Wherever Love Lives” by John Lewis, created by Saatchi&Saatchi. A musical piece celebrating emotional connection through dance and music in a nightclub, featuring Alison Limerick’s song reinterpreted by Labrinth, ending with the message: “If you can’t find the words, find the gift.”
02. Tempo – Ready for Anything
The second best commercial of the year is for “Taxi” by Tempo, created by AMB BBDO. It shows a taxi driver connecting with passengers’ emotions, offering a tissue at the right moment, reinforcing the brand concept “Ready for Anything.”
01. Allianz – Flight of the Finch
And the best advert for 2025 goes to “Flight of the Finch” from Allianz. Created by the agency Howatson+Company, directed by Michael Gracey, known for films like “The Greatest Showman” and the Robbie Williams biopic “Better Man.” Special effects were handled by ALT VFX using advanced CGI technology.
The advert tells a story of survival, uncertainty, and hope, centered on a finch trying to save her chick from a storm that could destroy them both. At the most critical moment, when everything seems lost, an eagle appears and gently guides them to safety — all set to the song “I’m With You” by Avril Lavigne.
