Tempo’s commercial is a heartwarming story: “Ready for Anything”
The AMV BBDO agency was in charge of the advertising campaign

The Tempo commercial is a moving story about a taxi driver’s empathy with his passengers.
In the world of advertising, there is often a tendency toward grandiosity and spectacle. But sometimes the simple, everyday stories are the ones that resonate the most.
This is the case with Tempo’s latest commercial. The tissue brand brings us the story of a taxi driver who deals with all the little experiences he faces every day in his vehicle.
Tempo – Ready for Anything – Taxi
The Tempo commercial is titled “Taxi” and falls under the brand concept “Ready for Anything”. The campaign was created by the British agency AMB BBDO, produced by Smuggler, and directed by Stefanie Solo.
The piece shows us a taxi driver who, ride after ride, connects with the emotions of his passengers: from the deepest sadness to the most spontaneous joy. His sensitivity allows him to recognize those moments and offer, at just the right time, a tissue. Sometimes to wipe away tears, other times to solve more trivial mishaps like cleaning an unexpected stain.
In the Tempo commercial, tissues become part of the journey, a resource always available to help people cope with the small —and big— situations of daily life.
According to Ekaterina Strelchenko, Global Brand Communications Director at Essity: “In our new campaign we really wanted to tell what the Tempo brand represents for people. We don’t just provide them with the best tissues, but also with the best mindset, promoting acceptance and emotional openness in the everyday routine.”
For his part, Nicholas Hulley, Co-Chief Creative Officer at AMV BBDO, commented: “In a world full of big emotions, it is often the small gestures that have the greatest impact. The ad highlights everyday moments of meaningful connection where a tissue is not just a tissue, but a sign that someone is taking care of you. This is how a brand like Tempo connects with people, through the power of small, deeply human moments.”
