It may seem hard to believe, but Robert De Niro and Al Pacino had never starred in a commercial campaign together before. And it was the prestigious Italian fashion brand Moncler that managed to bring these two acting giants together in its latest advert.
The brand aims to explore human connections through warmth as a symbol of friendship, trust, and empathy. It does so with a sober commercial where we see Robert De Niro and Al Pacino sharing a table and intimate conversation.

The Moncler advert is titled “Warmer Together” and stars Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. The campaign was photographed in New York by the renowned portrait photographer Platon, and features a series of black-and-white images filled with intimacy and emotion. In them, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino pay tribute to friendship, respect, and the bond between two Hollywood legends.
The Moncler campaign combines photography and film in a narrative that revolves around friendship, respect, connection, trust, and warmth. Through short clips and behind-the-scenes footage, the brand invites us to discover a more human side of its protagonists while reflecting on the value of personal connections in an increasingly digital world.
In one of the teasers, De Niro states: “Warmth was never about the outside. It was always about what happens inside.”
Meanwhile, Al Pacino commented: “Both share the screen in an intimate setting that symbolizes that true warmth comes from mutual care, shared conversations, and the simple act of being together.”
In addition, Moncler has accompanied this campaign with a manifesto that sums up the essence of its message: “Warmth was never about the outside. It was always about what happens inside. Warmth is born from walking and talking. From sharing. From caring for one another. Beyond the weather, warmth is being together, no matter what.”
