Coca-Cola advert for the 2026 World Cup: “Bubbling Up”
The advertising campaign was handled by the agency Open X.

The Coca-Cola advert captures all the emotions of football in its new global World Cup campaign.
This summer, it’s World Cup time and brands are already setting the stage. If it was recently Adidas showcasing a campaign full of aura, now it’s Coca-Cola, one of the event’s official sponsors, putting its cards on the table.
And it does so with an advert that turns the drink’s bubbles into a powerful metaphor for the excitement people feel as the tournament approaches.
Coca-Cola – Bubbling Up
The Coca-Cola advert for the World Cup is titled “Bubbling Up” and was created by Open X, WPP’s dedicated structure for Coca-Cola. It marks the starting point of a series of three adverts produced to accompany the FIFA World Cup.
The piece draws a visual and emotional parallel between the bubbles rising in a freshly opened soda and the excitement that is beginning to “bubble up” among football fans around the world. We see how that enthusiasm appears in both small and big everyday gestures: people reliving iconic moments from past tournaments, spontaneous celebrations, or symbolic decisions such as naming a child after a current football star.
The Coca-Cola advert for the World Cup unfolds to the rhythm of a new musical anthem created for the competition: a version of the classic “Jump” by Van Halen, reinterpreted by international artists. The song acts as a catalyst for that collective energy, capturing the anticipation, tension, euphoria and joy that define the World Cup experience.
