Adidas Originals advert prepares for Oasis’ return

The German brand pays tribute to the British band

Adidas Originals x Oasis Ad

The Adidas Originals advert pays tribute to Oasis by highlighting the connection between music and fashion.

It was common in 90s indie and rock bands to wear clothing styles of the time. These trends quickly spread to fans, who wore the same brands to show they were part of a collective.

One of the most iconic connections was that of the members of Oasis and their fans. The former often wore Adidas Originals, and the latter followed suit. Now, to celebrate the reunion of the original Oasis lineup, Adidas has decided to pay tribute to an era when their apparel set the trends.

Adidas Originals x Oasis

“Adidas Originals x Oasis” is the title of the Adidas Originals advert, a three-minute spot that premiered on the British Channel 4. The piece combines archival footage with modern scenes.

The campaign is set to the rhythm of “Live Forever” and captures the emotion and energy of an Oasis concert—or at least, the concerts that defined the 90s. Back then, Adidas apparel was a natural staple, as both band members were fans of the brand. Adidas aims to highlight that music transcends generations and lives on through fashion.

The Adidas Originals advert ends with a symbolic image: Noel and Liam Gallagher, together in a shot that many have longed to see for years. Though in times of artificial intelligence, any image is subject to scrutiny.

The collection will include t-shirts, jackets, tracksuits, and bucket hats in various colors, all featuring the Adidas Originals logo and the Oasis emblem.

The brand released a statement highlighting: “We wanted to pay tribute to a band that has marked generations and has always been linked to our identity. Oasis represents an authentic, rebellious, and timeless spirit—just like the essence of Originals.”
