The French watch and jewelery brand proposes a fresh and cheerful campaign. A whole hymn to the joy that 2021 is closed for Cartier, and without a doubt, one of the best Christmas commercials.
“Cartier: A Celebration of Love” is the title of Cartier’s Christmas advert. The work of the creative agency Publicis Luxe, it was shot between Paris, Los Angeles and Shanghai by the director and fashion photographer Charlotte Wales.
The piece brings together celebrities and well-known faces who have declared themselves fans of the brand who, to the rhythm of “Love is All” by Roger Glover, give us a video clip that is a hymn to joy. Thus, we see the singers Willow Smith, Troye Sivan and Jackson Wang; actresses Lilly Collins, Ella Balinska, Annabelle Wallis, Maisie Williams, Golshifteh Farahani, Monica Bellucci; the pianist Khatia Buniatishvili; director Mélanie Laurent; and the model Mariacarla Boscono dance to the rhythm of the song.
The inspiring song serves as a vehicle to remind us of the importance of being together because after all, love is everything. According to the brand: “The ad is a choral film like no other, a sincere hymn to universal love where the House celebrates the power of unity, joy and love.”
Cartier’s Christmas advert has taken care of the scenography representing the emblematic red box that accompanies the iconic products of the French brand. The global campaign will feature film screenings, 3D digital outdoor advertising, television, and social media content. In addition, it will mark the official launch of Cartier’s profile on TikTok.
