The Vanish advert is a beautiful statement against bullying
The BETC HAVAS agency was in charge of the advertising campaign

The Vanish advert is titled “The Bully Monster” and turns stains into a metaphor for bullying in schools.
Bullying in schools is undoubtedly one of the behaviors we must eradicate. To achieve this, prevention in classrooms, education at home, and raising awareness in society are key to avoiding such behaviors.
In this regard, we find the stain remover Vanish campaign, which tells us how stains on school uniforms reveal stories much deeper than they seem. In this case, a stain will fuel bullying until it grows enormous.
“The Bully Monster,” the Vanish advert that addresses school bullying
The Vanish advert is titled “The Bully Monster” and was developed by the agency BETC HAVAS and produced by LOBO. Recently released in Brazil, the campaign is present in movie theaters, streaming platforms, and social media.
The Vanish advert tells the story of a boy who suffers from school bullying and, due to constant teasing and violence, withdraws into himself. This bullying is represented by a stain on his sweatshirt that keeps growing, feeding on his classmates’ mockery. When his mother starts investigating the origin of these stains, she helps her son open up and express what he is going through. This empathy eliminates the bullying monster and encourages other children to start talking about their own experiences.
This campaign is part of “Vanish Saves Your Uniform”, an initiative launched by the brand three years ago to focus on common stains. However, in this edition, Vanish has decided to take it a step further and address the emotional stains left by bullying on children.
