Balenciaga withdraws its controversial advertising campaign
Balenciaga's campaign advocated child pornography
The fashion brand Balenciaga has had to withdraw its latest advertising campaign and apologize for apologies for child pornography.
In advertising not everything goes. There are times when creatives play with controversial campaigns to create impact and conversation among society. The saying “Let them talk about you even if it’s bad” has reached new heights in the latest Balenciaga advertising campaign.
And it is that the popular fashion brand has been involved in controversy after the reactions to the latest advertising campaign released. In it he presented the novelties in the accessories section showing children with stuffed animals and sadomasochism objects. The controversial photographs have already been withdrawn by the firm.

The brand has communicated on Instagram: “We sincerely apologize for any offense our holiday campaign may have caused. Our bear backpacks should not have been displayed with children. We have immediately removed the campaign from all platforms.”
In it we see accessories such as bags, glasses, coasters, glasses, necklaces or bracelets and children holding teddy bears dressed in leather harnesses and leashes. The campaign has drawn criticism from many users on social networks who have called the campaign “reportable, dangerous, lurid and child pornography.”
