Carlsberg celebrates the longest association of a brand with a Premier League team.
The case of Liverpool and its sponsorships is curious. In a world where teams auction off their sponsorships to the highest bidder from time to time, the English team makes a point of retaining those sponsors with which it feels comfortable.
Recently it was the British bank Standard Chartered that celebrated 10 years of sponsorship with the reds; and now it’s Carlsberg, the Danish beer brand celebrating 30 years of association with the club.
“Forever Fans” is the title of the Carlsberg and Liverpool advertisement celebrating 30 years of sponsorship. A special relationship that has endured many ups and downs, but has always remained faithful.
This multi-channel campaign reaches 26 markets and celebrates the many times Carlsberg has been a part of Liverpool fans. A campaign by The Network Worth Your While, SMALL, The Council and Drive Studios.
The advert is directed by Danish director Tore Frandsen and places us in the same pub for 30 years; in which they review the legendary moments of the club, frozen in time and from the point of view of the fans as they live those moments.
