Orange’s Christmas commercial encourages us to buy refurbished products this holiday season.
Christmas is the time of the year when families spend more money in all aspects: Gifts, food and celebrations reduce the annual budget and, at a time when inflation is skyrocketing, it can be a problem for more than one.
That’s why Orange’s Christmas commercial invites us to buy second-hand refurbished products. These products are reviewed and prepared by the same company, offering all the guarantees as if it were a new one.
“A much more generous Christmas” is the title of Orange’s Christmas commercial. It has been made by the agency Publicis Conseil for the French market. In it we see how an employee of a mobile phone store tells a girl that the one who supervises these products is Santa Claus himself.
The little girl begins to imagine the workshop where Santa Claus and the elves are busy checking all the products in their idyllic magical cabin hidden in the forest. They all arrive at the point so that we can buy it in the stores.
Orange’s Christmas commercial aims to extend its refurbished phone sales program called Re to the general public. According to the brand, in a statement: “This end of the year is being difficult from an economic and environmental point of view. The rat campaign to recover the purchasing power of the French by rewarding responsible actions”.
