Ozzy Osbourne and Billy Idol star in this commercial for the Super Bowl

Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol and other great rock stars are the protagonists of the WorkDay ad for the Super Bowl.
Ads for the Super Bowl starring big celebrities continue to be released. Pop Corners has reunited the cast of Breaking Bad, Squarespace with multiple clones of Adam Driver, Paramount with Stallone and Doritos with Elton John. A parade of great stars to the delight of the quintessential American showtime.
But the Workday ad has gone a little further by bringing together “old rockers” like Ozzy Osborne, Billie Idol or Paul Stanley for their Super Bowl ad.
“Rock Star” is the title of the Workday ad featuring Ozzy Osborne and other great artists. The North American human resources company has thrown all the meat on the grill for its advertising campaign that will be broadcast at the Super Bowl.
The piece repudiates the term “Rock Star” that is applied to a worker in the offices. This word describes the attitude of the worker when he goes beyond what is expected of him. To remedy this, they have hired the real “Rock Stars” to work in their offices.
So we see characters like Ozzy Osbourne, 74, KISS co-leader Paul Stanley, 71, Joan Jett, 64, and the youngest of all, guitarist Gary Clark Jr., 38.
According to Billie Idol, in a statement: “The Workday ad wants to make fun of itself. That’s what we can do too and it’s great to make fun of your own personality.”
For his part, Pete Schlamps, director of marketing for Workday: “This is a good group of people who provided that diversity and social reach. Before we started filming, I had some of those butterflies in my stomach: Is the project okay? cast? Is this going to work out? Once you got on set and saw those things come out, it was obvious it was great.”
