The Pepsi commercial with Bad Bunny as a lifeguard
The campaign announced the agreement between Pepsi and Apple Music

Pepsi’s Bad Bunny commercial kicks off the summer campaign and announces a deal with Apple Music.
If there is a common denominator in Pepsi’s great advertising campaigns, it is the collaboration with great music stars. And it is that the list of artists who have collaborated with Pepsi leaves you speechless: Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Madonna, Ray Charles or Britney Spears among others.
Now for the premiere of Pepsi’s summer campaign, they have teamed up with Bad Bunny in what is the artist’s first collaboration with the brand.
“Press Play on Summer” is the title of the Pepsi commercial with Bad Bunny intended for the US market. It has been co-directed by Dave Meyers and Mia Barnes and the choreography has been the work of Sherrie Silver. The brand also promotes its collaboration with Apple Music and in which free subscriptions to Apple’s music platform can be obtained.
The piece places Bad Bunny as a lifeguard in a community pool full of people. The Puerto Rican singer is surprised that the whole world is standing in the sun. Opening a bottle of Pepsi they start dancing to “Where She Goes”; and little by little people are encouraged to what the artist believes is the ideal mood for summer.
According to Todd Kaplan, Pepsi’s Worldwide Director of Marketing: “Pepsi has a tradition of creating ads with some of the biggest artists in the world. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Bad Bunny to the Pepsi family. His song It’s perfect for kicking off our Press Play on Summer promotion.”
