Apple’s commercial is a fast-paced chase through Istanbul
The TBWA Media Arts Lab London agency shoots the new installment of "Shot in iPhone"

Apple’s commercial is titled “The Great Escape” and is a fast-paced chase through the streets of Istanbul.
To advertise the benefits of its products, Apple created a new communication line to have carte blanche in showing everything that stands out on the iPhone. This is how “Shot on iPhone” was born in 2015, a series of short-form ad campaigns shot solely with an iPhone.
This is the case of campaigns as striking as “A dozen Eggs” or “The Comeback” that were shot entirely with Apple products. Now a new installment shot in Istanbul is released that shows us a fast-paced chase.
“The Great Escape” is the title of the Apple commercial created by the agency TBWA Media Arts Lab, Apple’s parent agency. It has been produced by Stnk and directed by the German filmmaker Sinan Sevinç.
The piece shows us how two skaters film themselves through the streets of Istanbul until they start to be chased by the police. It is then that a chase begins that will take them through the Grand Bazaar and its picturesque shops. All while a narrator presents, he will detail the benefits of the iPhone14: cinematic, macro and action modes, slow motion at 240 frames per second, blurring of the main scene or the treatment of light.
Apple’s commercial was published on the Apple Turkey YouTube channel, where it has over 16 million views.
