BMW commercial features Arnold Schwarzenegger and Salma Hayek as Zeus & Hera in retirement.
The protagonists had been announcing it and this week the BMW commercial for the Super Bowl was released. And it is that the return of BMW to the Super Bowl has been in a big way, with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Salma Hayek as protagonists to present their new electric model iX.
The campaign began a few weeks ago when the protagonists shared posters on social networks that reminded one of a Hollywood blockbuster. In it we saw Arnold Schwarzenegger as Zeus and Salma Hayek as Hera. A few days later, BMW shared a small teaser in which we saw Zeus order a coffee at a Starbucks. Until today, they have released the official comemrcial of BMW for the Super Bowl.
“Zeus & Hera” is the title of BMW’s Super Bowl commercial. It stars superstars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Salma Hayek playing the Greek gods of Olympus in their golden retreat.
Zeus and Hera decide to retire from Mount Olympus to Palm Springs, but life was not what Zeus expected. The electricity on earth is far from what he wants and little by little he becomes frustrated and regrets his decision. But just when all seems lost, Hera shows up with the new all-electric BMW iX, bringing Zeus back to full spark.
A fun commercial that will undoubtedly be one of the most talked about in the Super Bowl break between the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams.
