Now, with the metaverse in the sights of all companies, Greenpeace’s advertising campaign wants to reach the youngest with an original action carried out in one of the fashionable games.
Thus, Greenpeace floods GTAV and its main city: Los Santos. It has been an action developed by the creative agency VMLY&R Brazil in which the popular city of the game Grand Theft Auto and alert about the urgency of an imminent disaster.
The action developed by Greenpeace in GTAV is not casual, the game is one of the best-selling in history and there are millions of players who access the game every day. This flooded map was titled “Los Santos +3ºC” and was playable on the Kings Roleplay server.
Greenpeace’s campaign in GTAV did more than just flood the map. During the time it lasted, exclusive missions could be carried out, such as helping climate refugees or transporting drinking water. An interesting way to impact players and raise awareness about the urgency of climate change.
