“Ikea for Aliens” Ikea prepares for a possible extraterrestrial contact

“Ikea for Aliens” translates the instructions of its most famous products into Alien language.

Creative inspiration can come from the most unexpected moments. Thus, some statements by the director of intelligence of the United States affirming the sighting of UFOs become an amusing advertising campaign.

And it is that the “official” statement confirmed years of theories and paranoid conspiracies. And, although they are classified as “Unidentified Flying Objects” there are marks that are already preparing for a possible extraterrestrial contact.

This is the case of the latest Ikea campaign: “Ikea For Aliens”. The Swedish multinational has wondered what the first thing the Aliens would do if they decide to settle on our planet. And the answer is obvious: Go to Ikea.

So, together with Ogilvy Dubai, they have decided to go ahead and translate the instructions of all their products into the Alien language. At first glance, these manuals are not so different from the ones we usually find, and you will only find some drawing and signs representing the aliens and their language.

The project is titled #FurnitureForAll and includes helpful tips and reminders to visitors, such as to avoid loading furniture into their aisles and order home delivery from Ikea. In some establishments specific car parks have been enabled in case they arrive one day, they have everything ready.
