Adidas statues in London dedicated to inspiring women

The Adidas statues in London follow Adidas’ campaign to put inspiring women in the spotlight.
Adidas goes all out to present its new range of sports bras. Last week, Adidas published a photo on social networks where you could see more than 40 different types of breasts. The explicit campaign sought to challenge censorship and incite debate in a direct way.
The reactions have not been long in coming and there are many voices that have applauded Adidas’s initiative, which since the creation of “Impossible is Nothing” had not had such a good reception. Now they have carried out an ambient marketing campaign in London.
Adidas statues in London
London has more statues of animals and men than it does of women. That’s not the support that women deserve in 2022.
We’re pushing for greater representation of women, with a series of statues immortalising 8 incredible women across sport and culture. #SupportIsEverything pic.twitter.com/hHZAWm1evp

Under the hashtag #SupportIsEverything the entire international Adidas campaign is articulated. First it was the photo with the breasts on Instagram and now they have placed statues in London dedicated to inspiring women.
And it is that according to Adidas, in London there are more statues of animals and men than women. The study reveals that 21% of the monuments are dedicated to men, 8% to animals and only 4% to women. To remedy this, the brand and the Hyperactive agency have made statues of 8 women who have inspired them through sport and culture. These are located on the South Bank of the River Thames, next to the Tower Bridge in London.
The Adidas statues are very varied, among those chosen we find Vivianne Miedema, Arsenal footballer, Francesca Brown, founder of the NGO Goals4Girls, the dancer Ellie Goldstein, the rugby player Emily Scarratt and the poet Asma Elbadawi. These statues are made with plastic waste from the sea.
