M&S Christmas commercial brings back its fairy godmother
The campaign features the voices of actresses Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders

M&S’s Christmas commercial brings back the fairy godmother from its previous ad campaign for another adventure.
Nothing is more reminiscent of the holidays than Christmas adverts from British brands. The best advertisements for John Lewis, Sainsbury’s or M&S have left us with some of the best advertising campaigns in history. And it is not for less, these brands have been celebrating the start of the Christmas campaigns for a long time.
Now it is the turn of the British multinational Marks and Spencer (M&S) dedicated to retail, which has released its Christmas advert.
The M&S Christmas commercial introduces us to the fairy godmother who has already appeared in the M&S Christmas advert 2021. Dawn French is the actress who has voiced a fairy looking for new friends after playing Percy Pig last year.
On this occasion he will find company in “Duckie”, the toy of the house dog with whom he will want to share the holidays. Jennifer Saunders is the actress in charge of giving voice to the dilapidated pet. The choice of actresses to give voice to the protagonists is not random, since both actresses form a very popular comedy duo in the United Kingdom.
The M&S Christmas commercial introduces us to the fairy godmother who will jump from the Christmas tree to find a friend to spend the night with. After searching, she finds the perfect companion for her in the dog’s stuffed toy, a lucky duck named “Duckie”. Once the dangers that they present us have been circumvented, the fairy godmother shows those delicacies that they will be able to try via M&S Foods for these holidays.
